Dr. Who (The Early Years) - Part 41 "The Invisible Enemy"

The past few episodes, the Doctor has been in the secondary control room. This time he moves back to the original one. Hearing a distress call, the Doctor sets the co-ordinates to help if he can. As he's checking a few of the controls, the Tardis runs into a storm. The Tardis is infected with a virus that is passed along to the Doctor. Leela is also at the controls, but the virus rejects her.

The Doctor is responding to the distress call of Titan base. A ship dispatched to relief the onbase crew, also passes through the same storm as the Tardis. Upon arriving at Titan base, they kill the crew, though Lowe the station supervises. The infected personal cancel the distress call and are made aware the Doctor is arriving and carries the main host of the infection. The Doctor is initially unaware of this, but Leela senses danger.

Leela manages to kill one of the two remaining infected crew, but not before he infects Lowe. One indication of the contagion is a scaling around the eyes, so he dons a pair of space goggles and claims he was blasted in the eye. He offers to take the Doctor and Leela to a nearby medical facility to help the Doctor who is now showing signs he's infected. On the medical asteroid, they meet Marius and his companion K-9.

With Marius and K-9's help, the Doctor realizes the only way to destroy the infection within him is to go inside his body and destroy it face to face. Marius and K-9 are familiar with ways of cloning both the Doctor and Leela, but the clones only have a life span of 10 minutes. The Doctor believes this is enough time and has Marius clone him, then using an instrument from the Tardis, they are shrunken down and injected inside the Doctor.

Though only having a short amount of time, the Doctor and Leela find the virus but their time has worn out. The virus knows of the Doctors 'escape route' and escapes through the Doctor's tear ducts. Marius (now infected) thinks it's the Doctor and unshrinks him to interrogate. The Virus, now man sized, plans to spawn and infect everyone in the 'macro universe'. Heading back to the asteroid, one of the infected personnel has prepared for the spawning, but the Doctor is successful in destroying the virus and all the spawn.

WHO: K-9

PLANET OF ORIGIN: Bi-Al Foundation, Asteroid K4067; Year 5080.

REASON FOR JOINING: Marius explains to the Doctor he's heading back home and won't be able to bring K-9, he offers K-9 to the Doctor. The Doctor and K-9 are eager to team up.

Dr. Who (The Early Years) - "And Now A Word From Our Sponser"

Cereal Prizes

Don't bother looking for this in stores, this is a pure circa 1971 box of cereal. What could be cooler than seeing your favourite box of cereal with an image of the Doctor on it?

How about knowing there is a free Doctor Who related prize inside? The best part? There are up to six different prizes to collect. What could be in the box? Is it something you don't have yet?

Granted, by today's standards not very aesthetic. But when you are a ten year old little boy in love with Doctor Who, you took whatever you could get.

So what will I get when I open my box of cereal? Will it be the Doctor? Will it be the Master? UNIT, Jo Grant, Brigadier, Bessie? Only one way to find out.
1.) Open box.
2.) Pour cereal into the largest mixing bowl.
3.) Look for the prize.
4.) Pour cereal back into box. (Though very unskillfully)
5.) Get yelled at by mum.

Dr. Who (The Early Years) - Part 40 "The Face of Evil"

Though aiming for Hyde Park, the Tardis takes the Doctor where he's needed. He befriends a 'primitive' named by Leela, an outcast from the Sevateem tribe for speaking against Xoanon, their god. Leela meets the Doctor and believes he's the Evil One. The Doctor proves he isn't evil when he defends her against an attack.

Back in the tribe, Neeva is a prophet of Xoanon and speak to him, receiving instructions. Xoanon sounds suspiciously like the Doctor. When the Doctor sneaks in he notices Neeva speaks to Xoanon through a communicator and various other technical parts lay around, though not understood. The Doctor and Leela are soon captures, but it isn't long before they are able to escape.

Looking for the source of the transmission, and clues as to why Xoanon sounds like the Doctor, Leela brings him to the barrier where a large rock cliff is carved in his image. Leela says it's the face of the Evil One. Climbing up and into the images mouth, the Doctor is able to pass beyond a projected wall and into a crashed spaceship. It finally dawn on him, years before he was on the same planet and repaired the ships computer. But in Leelas time it was hundreds of years earlier.

Things suddenly become clear to the Doctor when he meets the sworn enemy of the Sevateem, the Tesh. When the Doctor repaired the computer years earlier he used his brain as a template for the circuitry and the computer now has a split personality. It's self aware self, and bits of the Doctor, because he forgot to wipe out his personality when he finished his repair of the computer. The computer is insane and tries to kill the Doctor.

Now with the help of the Sevateem, the Doctor is able to avoid the Tesh and repair the computer for good. In the process, he passes out for two days, meanwhile the two factions have declared a truce. The Doctor explains they are the descendants of the spacecraft. The Tesh, descendants of the Technicians and the Sevateem, descendants of the Survey Team. Now deciding to work together, the two factions decide to join forces. When they start fighting over who will be the leader, the Doctor quietly exits. When Leela is named, she also makes a hasty departure, chasing after the Doctor.

WHO: Leela

PLANET OF ORIGIN: Unnamed and far in Earth's future.

REASON FOR JOINING: Having been an outcast, Leela decides to follow the Doctor to the Tardis and begs him to take her with him. When he refuses, she runs into the Tardis anyway.

But the Doctor has a trick up his sleeve when he declares 'Article 17', announcing himself as a Presidential candidate. Under Gallifreyan law, he is protected until the next President is declared. The Doctor doesn't expect to win, he just knows it's given him more time to plead his case. Once free, he convinces Castellan Spandrell of his innocence and how he was framed.

There, he's hunted by the real killer of the President who needs to kill the Doctor now from discovering the secrets. The Doctor discovers he's being hunted by Goth, the real killer of the President. Having defeated him, the Doctor leaves the Matrix and searches for Goth, now outside the Matrix also. The Doctor realizes someone must be controlling Goth.

The Master has used up all 12 of his regenerations and wants more, even if it comes to destroying all of Gallifrey. The Master fakes his own death and while in the morgue gains control of the Sash of Rassilon, to protect him from being pulled into the Eye of Harmony - the great source of Timelord power. The Doctor is able to stop the Master, but he gets away, still horribly disfigured.
